Caregiver
Information Centre is pleased to announce it will be partnering with
the Saskatoon Health Region to provide counseling for Caregivers.

Information
about Counseling Services
- Social Workers are employed with Community Services, Saskatoon
Health Region and are registered members of the Saskatchewan
Association of Social Workers (SASW)
- Counselling services are confidential
- Services are covered by Saskatchewan Health (no fee for Service)
- Will provide individual counselling services for informal
caregiver facing the challenges of caregiving
- Service will be provided at the Saskatoon Council on Aging.
If necessary, other arrangements can be discussed with the social worker
Social work would offer the
following services:
- Assessment: collaborative
determination of appropriate service for client
- Counselling: focused on
adjustment to caregiver issues and caregiver stress
- Referral: to other community
resources as required according to the best interests of the client
- Advocacy: to other community
resources as required according to the best interests of the client
